In what is heating up to be the tablet war of the decade, two strong contenders will battle it out. The launch of the iPad has been extremely popular, but a certain chunk of the population (we’ll call them the ‘anti-appleheads’) is holding out for the larger Android Tablet Pad.
Google’s larger Android table pad, is highly anticipated to be more robust, except the nagging question is whether the Windows operating system is too heavy and will be a power eater.
Smaller 5 inch display Android Tablet pads, called the Streak, are available now and have some features that the current iPad is lacking.
The Android Streak will has a significantly smaller display, integrated camera, immediate support for voice calling and eventually for video chat, integrated Google maps, easily upgradable memory and accessible battery and, last but not least, support for Adobe Flash.
However, many people who have held and played on the Apple iPad like the size and this is something Android will need to copy in order to compete.
