does anyone know the release date for the ipad in canada?

and dont tell me its gonna suck? i may know that already. just wanna know when its out and possibly a price range.

Apple hasn’t released an exact date – the only thing we’ve heard from them is “late April” and it’s the same for the UK, Australia and other countries.

However web chatter is alive with rumors that April 24 is going to be the iPad release date in Canada. This is because Apple sent out a memo earlier this week to Canadian employees which said the April 24 weekend was a blackout period – meaning the employees can’t take a day off for sick leave or whatever. Clearly something big is going to happen.

And the price is likely the same as the Us with a ~$50 markup (as is consistent with other Apple products (more detail at link below).
