Why do people think the iPad will have a retina display?

There is absolutely no way that the iPad will adopt a 326 ppi in the 2nd gen iPad. I did the calculations and the resolution would be 2,660 by 1,884. That would be the resolution if you put 326 ppi on a 9.7 in screen. I mean, that is above 1080p which is on the current 21.5 inch iMac!

I know. And that would result in a really high price. There is no way that apple will do that.
